Yamuna Cleanliness Drive

River yamuna is the second largest tributary river of the ganges (Ganga) and the longest tributary in india. Today, River yamuna is considered as the dirtiest river in india. On april 7th, 2019, NMCG led a program in delhi to clean the yamuna, Kalindi kunj ghat in which Gautam Gambhir Foundation collaborated with the national mission for clean ganga (NMCG) to ensure the efficient implementation of the program.

Under the guidance of Shri Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, Director-general of NMCG, Gautam Gambhir Foundation staff along with 300 volunteers were able to clean the river surface by collecting the floating solid waste from the surface of the ghat and river.
